Cut chrysanthemum greens into 3cm pieces, separating leaves and stems. Crush garlic with the back of a knife. Cut beef into bite-sized pieces if necessary.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over low heat. Add garlic and stir until fragrant. Add beef and season with salt and pepper, cooking over medium heat until the beef changes color.

Add chrysanthemum stems and stir-fry for 1 minute. Then add chrysanthemum leaves and the sauce mixture (sake, sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce) and stir briefly.
