Bamboo Shoots with Ume Mayo

  • Vegetables

    • 1 bamboo shoot (200g), boiled
    • đź’§ 2 tbsp water
  • Condiments

    • 2 umeboshi (pickled plums)
    • 🥫 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Herbs

    • 3 shiso leaves, thinly sliced

STEPS

Slice the bamboo shoot thinly and place it in a microwave-safe container with 2 tbsp of water. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 2 minutes. Drain the water.

Remove the pits from the umeboshi and finely chop them with a knife. Thinly slice the shiso leaves.

Combine the bamboo shoots, umeboshi, and mayonnaise in a bowl. Mix well.
