- 🍚 2 cups cooked rice

Seasonings
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce

STEPS
Prepare and chop the onion, carrot, green onion, and bacon. Adjust vegetables based on availability.
Warm up the cooked rice in the microwave to loosen it.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok over medium heat. Add bacon, green onion, and minced garlic, and stir-fry until fragrant.
Add diced carrot and chopped onion to the wok. Sprinkle with pepper and stir-fry over high heat for 3-4 minutes.
Push the ingredients to one side of the wok. Tilt the wok and add 1 tbsp soy sauce, letting it bubble and caramelize.
Mix the caramelized soy sauce with the stir-fried ingredients quickly.
Add 2 cups of cooked rice and 1 tbsp oyster sauce. Stir-fry over high heat until the rice grains separate and are evenly coated.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
Serve the fried rice in a bowl, pressing it down for shape. Top with a soft-cooked egg and garnish with chives.
