STEPS
Dice the radish into bite-sized cubes suitable for children.
Mix the radish with 1 tbsp of sugar and let it sit for 2–3 minutes.
Add 1 tbsp of chili powder and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Add 1 tbsp of salt and let the radish sit for 30 minutes to soften.
Blend 1/2 apple and 1/2 onion, then mix them into the radish along with 1/3 tbsp minced garlic, 1/4 tbsp minced ginger, and 1 tbsp shrimp paste.
Seal the mixture tightly and let it sit at room temperature for 1 day before transferring to a kimchi refrigerator.
