Asparagus, Bacon, and Octopus Ajillo

    • 🥓 70g block bacon
  • Seafood

    • 🐙 100g boiled octopus
  • Vegetables

    • 🌱 3 stalks asparagus (60g)
    • 🧄 1 clove garlic
  • Seasonings

    • 150cc olive oil
    • Sliced chili to taste
    • 🧂 1/3 tsp salt

Trim the ends of the asparagus, peel tough parts with a peeler, and cut into 3cm pieces. Slice the garlic in half lengthwise, remove the core, and crush with the flat side of a knife.

Cut the block bacon into 1cm cubes. Slice the boiled octopus into bite-sized pieces.

In a pot, add olive oil, garlic, chili, and salt. Heat on low until fragrant. Add bacon, octopus, and asparagus, then simmer on medium heat for 3–5 minutes until the asparagus is cooked through.
