INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 1 block tofu
- đź§„ 20 cloves garlic
- 🍎 1 cup grated apple
- 🍅 3 tbsp ketchup
- 3 tbsp corn syrup
- 3 tbsp gochujang
- 🍯 1 tbsp honey
- 20 pine nuts
- 1 tsp black sesame seeds
STEPS
Pat dry the tofu with a kitchen towel and dice it into cubes.
Air fry the tofu at 180°C for 15 minutes, then flip and fry for another 10 minutes.
Cut the garlic cloves in half and air fry them for 5 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Crush the pine nuts using a mortar and pestle.
In a pan, combine ketchup, gochujang, corn syrup, grated apple, and honey. Simmer until thickened.
Mix the fried tofu with the prepared sauce until evenly coated.
Add the fried garlic to the tofu and mix gently.
Plate the tofu and garnish with crushed pine nuts and black sesame seeds.
