INGREDIENTS
Protein
- 🐖 80g thinly sliced pork belly
Vegetables
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Soy Products
- 200g thick fried tofu
Condiments
- 50g kimchi
- 1.5 tbsp miso
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- 1/3 tsp Japanese dashi powder
Liquid
- 💧 400ml water
STEPS
Pat the thick fried tofu with paper towels to remove excess oil and cut into bite-sized pieces. Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces.
Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat and sauté the pork belly until its color changes. Remove excess oil.
Add dashi powder and water to the pot, bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
Add the thick fried tofu and kimchi, and simmer over medium heat for 2 minutes.
Lower the heat and dissolve the miso into the soup. Serve in bowls and garnish with chopped green onions.
