INGREDIENTS
Protein
- 🍗 250g chicken thighs
Vegetables
- 1/2 burdock root (90g)
Cooking Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
Garnish
- Pinch of white sesame seeds
- đź§… Chopped green onion, as needed
STEPS
Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
Scrape the burdock root skin with the back of a knife, slice diagonally, and soak in water. Drain and microwave with 2 tbsp water for 5 minutes at 600W.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the chicken until both sides are browned.
Add the burdock root to the pan, stir-fry, then add the seasoning mixture. Cook until the liquid evaporates.
Plate the dish and garnish with chopped green onion and white sesame seeds.
