INGREDIENTS
Seafood
- 🦑 200g frozen squid
Vegetables
- 🥒 2 cucumbers
- 1 piece ginger
Seasoning
- đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
- 1/3 tsp chicken stock powder
STEPS
Partially peel the cucumber with a peeler, cut in half lengthwise, then slice diagonally into 1cm pieces. Rub with salt, let sit for 5 minutes, and squeeze out excess water. Slice the ginger into thin strips.
Score the squid lightly in a crosshatch pattern and cut into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat sesame oil and ginger in a frying pan over medium heat until fragrant. Add the squid and stir-fry for about 1 minute.
Add the cucumber and stir-fry until softened. Mix in the sauce ingredients and stir until well combined.
