INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🍆 3 medium eggplants (240g)
Seasoning
- 1 packet (4g) bonito flakes
- 1 tbsp ponzu sauce
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
STEPS
Trim the stems off the eggplants and peel them in a striped pattern using a peeler. Cut them in half lengthwise and soak in water. While still wet, wrap each eggplant individually in plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes. Cool in cold water, then squeeze out excess water. Slice the eggplants diagonally into 1cm thick pieces.
In a bowl, mix the ponzu sauce and sesame oil. Add the sliced eggplants and bonito flakes, then toss to combine.
