INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 200g daikon, sliced
- 1 konjac block
Oil
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp sake
- 1/2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sliced chili
- đź’§ 50cc water
STEPS
Tear the konjac into bite-sized pieces. Boil the konjac in a pot with enough water to cover it for 3 minutes, then drain. Slice the daikon into 1cm thick pieces after cutting it lengthwise into quarters.
Dry-fry the konjac in a frying pan to remove excess moisture. Add sesame oil and daikon, stir-frying over medium heat until the oil coats the ingredients.
Add the seasoning mix (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, chili, and water) to the pan. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer over medium-low heat until the daikon is tender. Remove the lid and stir-fry until the liquid evaporates and the dish becomes glossy.
