INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 2 pieces chikuwa
- 1/2 block konnyaku
Oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- A pinch of sliced red chili
STEPS
Slice the chikuwa into 1cm rounds and cut the konnyaku into bite-sized pieces using a spoon.
Boil the konnyaku in a pot of water for 2 minutes, then drain.
Heat sesame oil in a pot, add chikuwa and konnyaku, and stir-fry over medium heat until coated with oil.
Add the seasonings (marked ☆), mix well, and simmer over medium heat for about 2 minutes until glossy.
