INGREDIENTS

  • Vegetables

    • 🌱 1 pack bean sprouts
    • 🧅 1 stalk green onion
    • 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
  • Protein

    • 🌭 1 pack Vienna sausages
  • Seasoning

    • 2 tbsp gochujang
    • 2 tbsp red pepper flakes
    • 4 tbsp soy sauce
    • 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
    • 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Liquid

    • đź’§ 1 cup water

STEPS

1

Wash the bean sprouts thoroughly and drain them.

2

Slice the onion thinly, cut the green onion diagonally, and slice the Vienna sausages. Optionally, blanch the sausages in hot water for a healthier option.

3

Heat a pan with a little cooking oil and sauté the sausages until partially cooked. Add 1 cup of water and bring to a boil.

4

Once the water boils, add the green onion, onion, and bean sprouts. Mix in all the seasonings except sesame oil.

5

Cover the pan and let it boil. The vegetables will release moisture, so don't worry about the initial lack of liquid.

6

Once the bean sprouts soften and the liquid reduces, mix 1 tbsp of cornstarch with 2 tbsp of water to create a slurry. Gradually add the slurry to thicken the sauce.

7

When the sauce thickens, stir in 1 tbsp of sesame oil and mix well. Serve hot.
