Main
- 🍗 1 chicken breast (250g)
- 🥬 1/4 head lettuce
- 🍅 4 cherry tomatoes
- Potato starch as needed
- Salad oil as needed
Marinade
- 1 tbsp sake
- đź§‚ 1/2 tsp salt
- đź§„ 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
Sauce
- đź§… 1/2 stalk minced green onion
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Chili slices as needed
STEPS
Tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces and mince green onion.
Butterfly the chicken breast to ensure even thickness.
Mix marinade ingredients in a bowl and rub onto chicken. Let sit for 10 minutes.
Mix sauce ingredients in a separate bowl. Coat marinated chicken with potato starch.
Heat salad oil in a pan to 170°C and fry chicken for about 7 minutes, flipping occasionally.
While hot, toss fried chicken in the prepared sauce and let cool slightly. Slice into pieces.
Plate lettuce and cherry tomatoes, then arrange chicken on top.
