INGREDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 200g yellowtail fillets
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion, sliced
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 100ml ponzu sauce
- 💧 100ml water
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
STEPS
Slice the green onion into small pieces.
Season the yellowtail fillets with salt and pepper, then coat them evenly with cornstarch.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add the yellowtail fillets, and cook until browned on one side. Flip and cook for another 4 minutes. Remove excess oil with a paper towel.
Add the green onion and the sauce ingredients (sake, ponzu, water, and ginger) to the pan. Mix well and bring to a boil. Cover with a lid and simmer on low heat for 7–8 minutes.
