    • 🦑 2 squids (400g)
  • Seasoning

    • 2 tbsp sake
    • 2 tbsp mirin
    • 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 2 slices ginger
    • đź’§ 2 tbsp water

Clean the squid by removing the guts, cartilage, and eyes. Wash thoroughly and pat dry. Slice the body into 2cm rings and cut the tentacles into smaller pieces.

Combine all seasoning ingredients in a pot and heat over medium heat. Once boiling, add the squid and pour the sauce over it. Cover with a drop lid and simmer on low-medium heat for about 3 minutes until the squid changes color and is cooked through.
