INGREDIENTS
Vegetable
- 4 pieces satoimo (200g)
Seafood
- 1/2 piece mentaiko (25g)
Processed Food
- 2 pieces chikuwa
Condiment
- 1 tsp mentsuyu (3x concentrated)
Herb
- 1 tbsp chopped green onion
STEPS
Wash satoimo by rubbing the skin under water. Place in a microwave-safe container, add 1-2 tbsp water, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for about 6 minutes until tender. Peel the skin while hot using a cloth, rinse in water, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Cut chikuwa into diagonal slices about 1cm thick.
Make a slit in the mentaiko skin and extract the contents.
In a bowl, mix mentaiko and mentsuyu. Add satoimo, chikuwa, and chopped green onion, then mix well.
