INGREDIENTS
Staple
- 🍚 2 bowls of cooked rice (300g)
Canned Goods
- 1 can of miso-flavored saba (190g)
- 🍅 1/2 can of diced tomatoes (200g)
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced (100g)
- 1 pack of shimeji mushrooms (100g)
Seasoning
- 40g of hayashi roux
- 💧 150cc of water
- 🧈 10g of salted butter
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
Garnish
- 🌿 A pinch of chopped parsley
STEPS
Slice the onion thinly and trim the root of the shimeji mushrooms, separating them.
Heat butter and olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until softened. Add the shimeji mushrooms and continue sautéing until tender.
Add the miso-flavored saba can, diced tomatoes, and water. Break the saba into desired pieces. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5–7 minutes.
Add the hayashi roux and stir until thickened. Simmer for an additional 3–5 minutes.
Serve the stroganoff over rice and garnish with chopped parsley.
