INGREDIENTS

  • Rice

    • 🍚 500g warm cooked rice
  • Fish

    • 🐟 1 can (190g) saba in water
  • Condiments

    • 🧴 2 tbsp mayonnaise
    • 1/3 tsp black pepper
    • 🟤 1 tbsp miso
    • 🌰 2 tsp toasted white sesame seeds
  • Seaweed

    • 🟩 1.5 sheets roasted nori

Drain the saba can and cut the nori into 4 vertical strips.

In one bowl, mix half the saba with mayonnaise and black pepper. In another bowl, mix the remaining saba with miso and sesame seeds.

Place 1/6 of the warm rice on a piece of plastic wrap, add 1/3 of the filling from each bowl, and shape into a ball.

Wrap the onigiri with a strip of nori.
