    • A pinch of chopped green onion
    • A pinch of sesame seeds
    • A pinch of black pepper

STEPS

Peel and chop the potatoes, then soak them in cold water to remove starch.

Chop the onion and green chili pepper. Skip the chili pepper if serving to kids or those sensitive to spice.

Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, sesame oil, green onion, sesame seeds, and black pepper.

Heat a pan with a small amount of cooking oil, then sauté the potatoes until their surface becomes slightly translucent.

Add 1 cup of water and the prepared sauce to the pan. Cover and simmer until the potatoes are tender.

Once the potatoes are tender, add the chopped onion and simmer further. Add the chili pepper and continue simmering until the sauce is well absorbed.
