INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 8 slices pork loin
Seasoning
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt
- As needed cornstarch
- As needed white sesame seeds
Vegetables
- 8 shiso leaves
Oil
- 2 tsp salad oil
Sauce
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp grated ginger
STEPS
Lay out each slice of pork loin and sprinkle with salt. Place a shiso leaf on each slice, roll tightly from one end, and lightly coat with cornstarch.
Mix all sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, grated ginger) in a bowl.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the rolls seam-side down and cook until evenly browned.
Add the sauce mixture to the pan and cook over medium heat until the rolls are glazed and coated. Sprinkle with white sesame seeds if desired.
