INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 150g thinly sliced pork belly
Vegetables
- 400g frozen half-moon sliced daikon
- Chopped green onion for garnish
Condiments
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Seasonings
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sake
- 200cc water
Cooking Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil
STEPS
Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat and sauté the pork until its color changes.
Add the seasoning ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, and water) and bring to a boil. Add the daikon and bring to a boil again. Cover and simmer over medium-low heat for about 10 minutes.
Add gochujang and mix well. Cover and simmer for another 5 minutes. Remove the lid and cook over medium heat until the sauce reduces to half.
Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onions.
