  • Vegetables

  • Seasoning

    • 1 tsp sake
    • 1 tsp soy sauce
    • cornstarch as needed

  • Oil

    • 1 tbsp salad oil
  • Sauce

    • 1/3 green onion
    • 1 piece ginger
    • 1/2 tsp sliced chili
    • 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
    • 1 tbsp vinegar
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 🍅 1/2 tbsp ketchup
    • đź’§ 50cc water
  • Thickener

    • 1 tsp cornstarch
    • đź’§ 2 tsp water

STEPS

Massage pork with sake and soy sauce in a bowl and let sit for 5 minutes.

Cut bell peppers into bite-sized pieces, slice onion into wedges, mince green onion and ginger.

Shape pork into balls and coat with cornstarch.

Heat salad oil in a pan, fry pork balls over medium heat until browned. Add bell peppers and onion, stir-fry until onion turns translucent.

Wipe excess oil, add green onion, ginger, and chili. Stir briefly, then add remaining sauce ingredients and bring to a boil.

Add cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce, mix well, and season with salt and pepper.
