INGREDIENTS

  • Meat

    • 200g pork belly block
  • Vegetables

    • 1 leek (white part)
  • Seasoning

    • đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
    • Potato starch as needed
    • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
  • Sauce

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 🍬 1 tsp sugar
    • 2 tbsp ponzu soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp ground white sesame

Cut the leek into 4cm pieces and trim the root. Slice the pork belly into bite-sized pieces, season with salt and pepper, and lightly coat with potato starch.

Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the pork and cook until the color changes, flipping occasionally.

Add the leek to the pan and cook until it gets a nice char and the pork is fully cooked. Stir in the sauce ingredients (sake, sugar, ponzu soy sauce, ground sesame) and coat evenly.
