    • 🍚 2 bowls (400g) warm rice
    • 🍗 1 piece (300g) chicken thigh
    • đź§… 1 stalk green onion
    • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • đź§‚ Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Sauce

    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 🍬 1 tsp sugar
    • 1 tsp grated ginger

Cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces. Place in a container, add sake, salt, and pepper, and massage. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Cut the green onion into 3cm pieces.

Coat the chicken pieces with flour. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the chicken until fully cooked.

Add the green onion to the pan and cook for 2–3 minutes over medium heat. Add the sauce ingredients and simmer until thickened. Serve over warm rice.
