    • 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
    • đź§… 1/4 bunch green onion
    • 1/2 bag bean sprouts
    • đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
    • 1/2 tbsp salad oil
  • Sauce

    • đź’§ 100cc water
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
    • đź§‚ 1 tbsp soy sauce

Cut the green onion into halves lengthwise.

Place bean sprouts in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 2 minutes.

Butterfly the chicken thigh to even out its thickness and season with salt and pepper.

Lay the chicken thigh skin-side down, place green onion and bean sprouts on top, and roll tightly. Secure the roll with toothpicks.

Mix water, sake, mirin, sugar, and soy sauce to prepare the sauce.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the chicken roll seam-side down and cook until sealed. Rotate to brown evenly.

Add the sauce to the pan, cover, and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove toothpicks and slice into bite-sized pieces.
