INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 150g thinly sliced pork belly
Vegetables
- 200g mizuna, chopped into 4cm pieces
- 100g enoki mushrooms, halved and separated
Oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- 200cc water
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
STEPS
Cut the mizuna into 4cm pieces and trim the roots. Halve the enoki mushrooms and separate them.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat and stir-fry the pork until its color changes.
Add the seasoning ingredients (water, dashi powder, sake, mirin, soy sauce, ginger) and bring to a boil. Add enoki mushrooms, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
Add the mizuna and simmer briefly.
