INGREDIENTS
Grain
- 🍚 2 bowls of cooked rice (300g)
Fish
- 🐟 1 can of miso mackerel (190g)
Egg
- 🥚 2 eggs
Vegetable
- 8cm of grated yam (200g)
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
STEPS
Peel and grate the yam.
In a bowl, mix cooked rice, miso mackerel (including the canned liquid), and sesame seeds. Break apart the mackerel as you mix.
Separate the egg yolks and whites. In another bowl, combine egg whites, grated yam, and salt, mixing well.
Spread the mackerel rice mixture into a heatproof dish and pour the yam mixture over it. Bake in a toaster oven for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
Garnish with chopped green onion and place the egg yolks on top before serving.
