INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 150g pork belly slices
Vegetables
- 🥔 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 leek, thinly sliced
- 100g maitake mushrooms
Seasonings
- 1 tsp sesame oil for frying
- đź§„ A pinch of grated garlic
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- A pinch of pepper
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil for finishing
- 1 tbsp ground sesame seeds
- Chopped green onion for garnish
Liquid Seasonings
- 2 tbsp sake
- đź’§ 100ml water
- 🍬 1.5 tbsp sugar
STEPS
Peel and dice the potatoes into bite-sized pieces and soak them in water. Slice the leek thinly and separate the maitake mushrooms.
Heat sesame oil in a pot, add pork belly and grated garlic, and stir-fry until the pork changes color. Add leek, potatoes, and maitake mushrooms, and mix well.
Add sake, water, and sugar to the pot. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on medium-low heat for 10 minutes.
Add soy sauce and pepper, and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Add sesame oil and ground sesame seeds, mix well, and serve in a dish. Garnish with chopped green onion.
