Vegetables
- 🥬 3 leaves (240g) Chinese cabbage

Seasoning
- White sesame seeds, as needed
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 2 tbsp mirin
- đź§‚ A pinch of salt
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- đź’§ 300cc water
STEPS
Layer half of the beef on one cabbage leaf, repeat with another layer, and top with a final cabbage leaf. Cut into four equal sections.
Place the layered sections into a pot, add the seasoning mixture (dashi, mirin, salt, soy sauce, and water), and bring to a boil. Skim off any foam, cover, and simmer on low heat for 8 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
Serve on a plate and garnish with white sesame seeds and chopped green onion.
