    • 150g konjac, pre-treated
    • 6 slices pork loin, thinly sliced
    • đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
    • 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
    • 6 shishito peppers
    • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • Sauce

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 🍬 1 tsp sugar
    • 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
    • đź§„ 1/3 tsp grated garlic
    • Sliced chili to taste

Cut the konjac into 6 equal pieces and pat dry. Heat a pan and lightly sear the konjac on medium heat until browned. Let cool.

Season the pork slices with salt and pepper, then coat them with cornstarch.

Place a piece of konjac on each pork slice and roll tightly.

Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan and place the rolls seam-side down along with the shishito peppers. Cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally, until evenly browned.

Add the sauce to the pan and stir to coat the rolls and peppers. Cook until the sauce thickens and clings to the ingredients.
