INGREDIENTS

  • Fish

    • 🐟 4 cleaned sardines (360g)
  • Vegetables

    • 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
  • Seasoning

    • 1 slice of ginger
    • 🧄 1 clove of garlic
    • 🍶 3 tbsp sake
    • 🧂 1 tbsp sugar
    • 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp kochujang
    • 💧 150ml water

Slice the ginger thinly. Halve the garlic lengthwise, remove the core, and crush it with a knife.

Pat the sardines dry with kitchen paper.

Add all ☆ ingredients to a small frying pan and heat over medium heat. Once boiling, add the sardines. Simmer for 2 minutes while spooning the sauce over the sardines, then cover with a drop lid and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.

Plate the sardines and garnish with chopped green onion.
