    • 50g roasted soybeans
    • 30g dried sardines
    • 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
  • Seasonings

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 2 tbsp mirin
    • 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce

STEPS

Heat a frying pan over low heat and roast the soybeans and dried sardines for 6–7 minutes until the sardines become brittle. Remove and let cool.

In the same pan, add the seasonings (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce) and white sesame seeds. Heat over medium-high and stir until the mixture thickens and darkens.

Add the roasted soybeans and sardines to the pan and coat them evenly with the sauce.

Spread the coated mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to cool and prevent sticking.
