INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 250g thinly sliced pork belly
Vegetables
- 200g enoki mushrooms
- 1 tbsp chopped green onion
Seasoning
- đź§‚ A pinch of salt and pepper
- Cornstarch as needed
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp grated ginger
Oil
- 1 tbsp salad oil
STEPS
Trim the root ends of the enoki mushrooms.
Lay out one slice of pork belly, season with salt and pepper, place 1/10 of the enoki mushrooms on the edge, and roll tightly. Dust with cornstarch. Repeat for all 10 rolls.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the rolls seam-side down and cook, turning occasionally, until browned. Cover and steam on low heat for 3 minutes.
Add the sauce ingredients (soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, ginger) to the pan and simmer until the rolls are coated. Serve and garnish with chopped green onion.
