INGREDIENTS
Main
- 1 piece (200g) deep-fried tofu
- 150g grated daikon radish
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- đź’§ 100cc water
- 1.5 tbsp concentrated men-tsuyu
- 1 tbsp mirin
Garnish
- đź§… Chopped green onion, as needed
STEPS
Grate the daikon radish and squeeze out excess water.
Cut the deep-fried tofu into smaller pieces: halve the short side and quarter the long side.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the tofu and fry for about 3 minutes, turning to brown evenly. Remove and wipe excess oil from the pan.
Add water, men-tsuyu, and mirin to the pan. Bring to a boil to create the sauce.
Plate the fried tofu, pour the sauce over it, top with grated daikon, and sprinkle chopped green onion.
