INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🥓 70g block bacon
- 180g daikon, 6cm piece
- 🥕 75g carrot, 1/2 piece
Liquid and Seasoning
- đź’§ 400cc water
- 1/2 tsp consomme
- đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
For Garnish
- 🌰 Mustard, as needed
STEPS
Cut the daikon into 2cm thick slices, peel thickly, and halve. Cut the carrot into bite-sized chunks using a rolling cut. Arrange daikon and carrot on a microwave-safe plate, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 5–6 minutes.
Cut the block bacon into 4 equal pieces.
In a pot, combine bacon, daikon, carrot, water, and consomme. Heat until boiling, then cover and simmer on low heat for 8 minutes. Add salt to adjust the flavor.
Serve in a bowl and garnish with mustard.
