INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 🥓 200g pork belly shabu-shabu slices
Vegetables
- 🥒 1 cucumber
- 4 shiso leaves
Seafood
- 1 mentaiko (50g)
Seasonings
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- đź§‚ 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
STEPS
Cut the cucumber in half and slice thinly using a peeler. Julienne the shiso leaves.
Make a cut in the mentaiko and scoop out the contents. Mix the mentaiko with mayonnaise, soy sauce, and sesame seeds in a bowl.
Heat a pot of water until just before boiling, then reduce to very low heat. Add the pork slices one at a time, flipping with chopsticks until the color changes. Remove and let cool.
Combine the cooked pork, cucumber, and mentaiko mixture in a bowl. Mix well, plate, and garnish with shiso leaves.
