    • 4 chikuwa sticks
    • đź§€ 20g pizza cheese
    • A pinch of aonori
  • Mentaiko Mayonnaise

    • 1 small mentaiko (30g)
    • 1/2 tbsp mayonnaise

Make a slit in the chikuwa. Cut open the mentaiko and extract the contents. Mix the mentaiko and mayonnaise in a plastic bag to create mentaiko mayonnaise. Cut the tip of the bag.

Open the slit in the chikuwa and fill evenly with mentaiko mayonnaise. Cut each chikuwa into 4 equal pieces.

Skewer 4 chikuwa pieces onto a bamboo stick. Repeat to make 4 skewers.

Spread 1/4 of the pizza cheese in a stick shape on a frying pan, sprinkle with aonori, and heat over medium heat. Once the cheese starts melting, place the skewers on top and cook until the cheese becomes crispy.
