INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 3 pieces chikuwa
- 1 block (200g) konnyaku
- 1 packet (4g) bonito flakes
Oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Slice konnyaku with a spoon into thin pieces. Cut chikuwa lengthwise in half and then into diagonal 1cm slices.
Boil water in a pot, add konnyaku, and cook for about 3 minutes. Drain the water.
Heat the konnyaku in a pan over medium heat and stir-fry for 3–5 minutes to evaporate moisture. Add sesame oil and chikuwa, stirring until evenly coated.
Add sake, mirin, and soy sauce to the pan. Stir-fry until the liquid evaporates. Add bonito flakes and mix well.
