- 🍗 250g chicken thigh
- 4 shishito peppers
- 2 plums
- 1 tsp salad oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- đź§„ 1 tsp grated garlic
STEPS
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Trim the stems off the shishito peppers. Remove pits from plums and mash them into a paste.
Mix the sauce ingredients (sake, soy sauce, mirin, garlic) with the plum paste in a bowl.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Place chicken skin-side down and cook until browned. Flip, cover, and cook on low heat for 3 minutes.
Add the sauce mixture and shishito peppers to the pan. Simmer and coat the chicken evenly.
