INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🍗 2 chicken thighs
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- 🍅 1 tomato, diced
- 50g sweet pickled shallots, minced
- 3 shiso leaves, thinly sliced
- 2 myoga, thinly sliced
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp doubanjiang
STEPS
Dice the tomato and sweet pickled shallots. Thinly slice the shiso leaves and myoga.
Mix the diced vegetables with the seasonings (toasted sesame seeds, soy sauce, and doubanjiang) in a bowl.
Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the chicken skin-side down until golden brown. Flip the chicken, cover with a lid, and steam on low heat for 5 minutes.
Slice the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces, plate them, and pour the prepared sauce over the top.
