INGREDIENTS
Protein
- 🍗 200g chicken thigh (cut for frying)
Vegetables
- đź§… 1 scallion (white part, sliced)
Seasoning
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- đź§‚ 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp miso
- đź§„ 1/3 tsp grated garlic
STEPS
Slice the scallion into 3cm diagonal pieces.
Season both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper.
Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl to create the miso sauce.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden brown. Flip and add scallions, cooking for 4 minutes until chicken is cooked through. Remove excess oil with a paper towel.
Add the miso sauce to the pan and stir to coat the chicken and scallions evenly.
