- 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken breast
- 🥬 1 leaf cabbage
- 5g sakura shrimp
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Sauce Ingredients
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
- 1/3 tsp yuzu pepper
- Pinch of Japanese dashi powder
- đź’§ 150ml water
Thickening Agent
- 2 tsp potato starch
- đź’§ 2 tsp water
STEPS
Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, season with salt, pepper, and sake, then let sit for 5 minutes. Coat with potato starch.
Cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan, add the chicken, and cook on low heat for 6–7 minutes, flipping occasionally until fully cooked. Remove from the pan.
Add cabbage to the pan and stir-fry over medium heat until softened. Add sakura shrimp and sauce ingredients, then simmer.
Once bubbling, add the water-starch mixture to thicken the sauce. Serve the chicken on a plate and pour the sauce over it.
