Chicken and Turnip Miso Butter Stew

    • 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
    • 🥕 2 turnips
  • Seasoning

    • 1 tsp salad oil
    • 1 1/2 tbsp miso
    • A pinch of pepper
    • 💧 150cc water
  • ☆Stew Base

    • 🧄 1 clove garlic
    • 🧈 20g salted butter
    • 2 tbsp sake

STEPS

Cut the turnips, leaving 1cm of stem, peel, and halve them. Cut the leaves into 4cm lengths.

Slice the garlic in half vertically. Cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan, place the chicken skin-side down, and cook until browned. Flip the chicken and add the turnips.

Add the stew base ingredients (☆Stew Base).

Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with pepper and serve.
