INGREDIENTS
Protein
- 🍗 1 chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 10cm daikon radish
- đź§„ 2 cloves garlic
- đź§… 1/3 stalk white part of green onion
- 1 tsp chopped red chili
- đź§… Chopped green onion, as needed
Condiments
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
Seasonings
- 2 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- đź§‚ 1 tbsp sugar
- 150ml water
STEPS
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Slice the daikon into chunks and cut the green onion into 3cm pieces.
Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic, red chili, and green onion, and sauté briefly.
Add the chicken to the pan. Once the chicken changes color, add the daikon and stir-fry.
Add the seasoning ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, water). Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer over medium-low heat for 10 minutes.
Add soy sauce, mix well, and simmer for another 5 minutes. Increase heat to reduce the sauce. Serve and garnish with chopped green onion.
