INGREDIENTS
Protein
- 🍗 200g chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 90g burdock root
- 125g konjac
Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 1/2 tbsp miso
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp ground white sesame
- đź’§ 100ml water
STEPS
Cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.
Slice the burdock root diagonally into thin pieces and soak in water for 10 minutes. Drain well.
Tear the konjac into bite-sized pieces using a spoon. Rub with salt, rinse under running water, and boil for 3 minutes.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken and stir-fry until the color changes. Add burdock and konjac, and stir-fry for another 3 minutes.
Add the seasoning mixture (sake, mirin, sugar, sesame, and water), mix well, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5–7 minutes.
Dissolve miso into the mixture and simmer for 1 minute.
