INGREDIENTS

  • Meat

    • 🥩 200g beef sirloin steak
  • Vegetables

    • 🧄 1 clove garlic
    • 1/2 bag baby leaf greens
    • 🍋 1 wedge lemon
  • Seasoning

    • 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
    • 1/2 tbsp salad oil
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
    • Pinch of black pepper
    • 🧈 10g salted butter

Slice garlic thinly and remove the core with a toothpick. Cut lemon into wedges, removing the white pith.

Season both sides of the beef with salt and pepper.

Heat salad oil and garlic in a pan over low heat until golden brown, then remove garlic. Sear beef on high heat for 1 minute per side until browned. Wrap in foil and let rest.

Add sake, soy sauce, black pepper, and butter to the pan. Stir and simmer over medium heat for 1 minute to create the sauce.

Slice the steak into bite-sized pieces.

Plate the steak with baby leaf greens and lemon wedges. Drizzle the sauce over the steak.
