INGREDIENTS
Base
- 🍚 2 bowls cooked rice (400g)
- 🥬 2 cabbage leaves (120g), shredded
Meat Mixture
- 🥩 200g thinly sliced beef
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
Sauce
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 🍅 1 tbsp ketchup
Coating
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 🥚 1/2 beaten egg
- 🍞 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
Cooking Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
STEPS
Shred the cabbage leaves into thin slices.
Mix Worcestershire sauce and ketchup in a bowl to prepare the sauce.
Combine beef, sake, flour, and salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix until well combined. Divide into two portions and shape into oval patties.
Coat each patty in flour, then dip into beaten egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C. Fry the patties for 3 minutes on one side, flip, and fry for another 3 minutes until cooked through.
Slice the fried patties into bite-sized pieces. Serve rice in bowls, top with shredded cabbage, sliced patties, and drizzle with sauce.
