INGREDIENTS
Main
- 🥩 200g sliced beef
- 🥬 1 turnip with leaves (200g)
- 🍄 2 king oyster mushrooms (80g)
- đź§„ 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Place beef and seasoning ingredients (sake, salt, pepper, cornstarch) into a plastic bag and massage to coat.
Prepare the vegetables: peel and cut the turnip into wedges, chop the leaves into 3cm pieces, slice the mushrooms thinly, and mince the garlic.
Heat sesame oil and garlic in a frying pan over low heat until fragrant, then add the beef and stir-fry over medium heat until browned.
Add turnip and mushrooms to the pan, stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until the turnip is tender, then add the turnip leaves and stir briefly.
Add the soy sauce, mirin, and salt and pepper, then stir-fry to combine evenly.
