- 1 can (130g) canned clams in water
Simmering Sauce
- 100cc water
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- đź§‚ 1 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Add all simmering sauce ingredients (water, mirin, sugar, soy sauce) into a pot and bring to a boil.
Add the canned clams along with the liquid from the can into the pot. Cover with a lid and simmer on low heat for 5–7 minutes.
Increase to medium-low heat and simmer until the liquid is almost completely reduced.
